In the second murder which happened in Chan Pine Ridge on Tuesday, police have established that water deliveryman 42 year old Roberto Villafranco was lured to the village by a bogus call for water delivery.

"On Tuesday the 23rd of April police responded to a shooting incident at Chan Pine Ridge road in Orange Walk. upon arrival they saw the lifeless body of a male person identified as Roberto Villa Franco and he was seen with gunshot injuries. Also seen was another male person who was a sideman of the truck at the time. Roberto Villafranco was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. information is that both were called to that area by an unknown caller who had asked for water when they arrived as soon as the driver stepped out he was shot we had one suspect in custody but he has been released after investigations. An investigation continues into this report."

"We have established that it was not a robbery it was a targeted shooting. We had one detained but he was released and we did not have sufficient evidence so the investigation continues."

"We have some footages those are being reviewed but where the shooting actually happened there are no cameras there."
