Romero also gave us more details on 2 murders that occurred in Orange Walk last week. The first murder occurred in Santa Martha and police are looking for 2 suspects in connection.

"Then on Monday the 27th day of April police responded to a report in Santa Martha in the Orange Walk district where a person had been reported missing. After a family member found the missing person he was identified as Francisco Garcia a farmer of Santa Martha. Garcia was seen with several chop wounds he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Information is that he was taking care of his farm when he was attacked by persons unknown. An investigation is being carried out and we are seeking 2 persons of interest who can assist with this investigation."
"No one is detained but like I mentioned we are seeking 2 persons of interest who also have a farm in that area."
"I know some items were stolen from his farm. 2 of the items were recovered and so we are seeking these persons for questioning."
