Her mother suspects that someone has taken her daughter and 2 grandsons out of the country, and she has not been able to get in touch with them. The family of Kenia Chan and her 2 sons Ezekiel and Dorian Montejo, reported them missing; they were last seen on Monday April 27th. Today we spoke via phone with Chan's mother who filed the missing persons report, and she explained to us how she came to conclude that her daughter was missing.

"They used to move every time."

"So she moves around a lot? She doesn't live in Teakettle?"

"She doesn't have like a stable place where she stays."

"So how did you find out that she is missing if you haven't seen her since December?"

"Because she called me the last time, she called me, that was March 31st, that was the last time she called me."

"Okay."

"And since she hasn't called me I started to investigate and I went to where she stays, cause I don't know where she has gone and she hasn't contacted me."

"Okay."

"And the place that she was staying they told me that she sold all her things like pots and things like that."
Jo-
"Was she living with someone? And she left this person? They split up and then she went to live somewhere else?"

"No she is with him, but he is the person that took her."

"So you think that they took your daughter and 2 grandsons?"

"Yes out of the country."

"Out of the country? But you don't know where?"

"I think that it is Guatemala but at the police station Belmopan they have record on him."

"So is it that you just want to know if she is safe?"

"Yes I want to know if the kids are safe and her."
