The BDF volunteers ended their two weeks battle camp training this weekend. To mark the end of the yearly exercise, there were closing ceremonies at the Price Barracks in Ladyville where for the first time in the BDF volunteer's history they were presented with a flag of their own. The flag is blue, green and yellow representing the three companies. Also depicted is an emblem with busts of a civilian and a soldier as well as an axe and a bayonet. Commandant of the Volunteer Element of the BDF Lt. Colonel Edmund Zuniga says the flag is a first for the men he commands. The Volunteer Element presently stands at 400 plus men and women.
