It's the Easter season when Christians around the world remember the passion of Christ. We're not quite sure how the Easter Bunny hopped into all this religiosity but there's no arguing about it now because he's become a certified institution. But the good part about the bunny is that he's inspired some charity evidenced yesterday when the Scotia Bank staff delivered Easter baskets to children who may have to spend the Easter in the Pediatric Ward.

Pat Andrews, ScotiaBank's Country Manager
"Today what's happening is that our manager of our Belama Branch, Rachel Reyes and her team, decided to get together some Easter baskets to come to KHMH to spread some little joy, some concern, with the youngsters to let them know that we care and to just let them know that they have someone who loves them very much and are hoping that they improve in health. This is very necessary for us because it forms part of our core values where we believe in deepening relationships where we serve and we believe the youth are an important element in our society. So we feel that if we can come to them and let them know they are important to us, it will make a big difference."
