They are babies to the Rotary Club but tonight members in the Rotaract Club have bragging rights because today they talked the talk and walked the walk. Club members fed lunch to 100 homeless in Belize City. That's not a first but today Rotaract-ers ate lunch with the homeless in Battlefield Park. It has become a tradition and president Mark Bowman who ate lunch with one of the residents in the park told us why its important.
Mark Bowman, Rotaract President
"Today we set aside to feed the homeless and we decided to do something different which is giving them a lunch, have lunch with them. Rotaract Club, we go about looking for projects and we go about doing projects for the needy. We will try to assist as much as possible in our community so its just about going to look for areas in the community that are in need."
The official Rotaract day is Monday.
