4H will celebrate 50 years in Belize with a walk against hunger tomorrow. It’s called “end hunger, walk the world” and is sponsored by 4H and HECOPAB. 4H’s Jerry Wagner gave us the details.

“We’ll be in Belmopan tomorrow morning starting off at Market Greens, going from there to the Ring Road one time, as it is pretty hot out here, and then we end with a mini health fair where HECOPAB will hand out some information on nutrition.”

How can people be a part of it?
Jerry Wagner,
“Well you can join us tomorrow, right at the market greens in Belmopan, starting at about 8:30 and we’ll finish probably just before 11:30 and if they want anymore information they can call 4H or myself, that’s fine.
It is important because by acting locally and impacting globally, we sometimes may not recognize the exact issue or we hear about it on TV or see it on the news or the internet somewhere and say what can we do. We can do this at the very least to raise awareness and educate people about the issue and do our part in that area.”
This is the 7th annual walk against hunger.
