Their lives revolve around cars that go fast, look good and cost plenty, but members of the Dynamiq Auto Club say they also have hearts. And to prove it, today they had their hearts and cars on display. The occasion was the donation of school supplies to 25 needy primary school students. The club’s secretary

Ellen Garbutt says the students received school bags filled with classroom essentials.

Ellen Garbutt, Secretary – Dynamiq Auto Club
“There are 25 packages for the students, its five schools and from each school it is five of the most neediest from that school. We actually went to do a rigorous survey and after we had completed the survey we realized that each one of these schools received the minimal assistance from the business community and the society at large.

We have brand new school bags, quite attractive I must say, and each one of them carry rulers, sharpeners, pencils, geometry sets, exercise books, and one subject notebooks for the bigger kids.

That is the perception the society has because of some of the cars we have today but Dynamiq Auto Club is not just a car club, it is not about pretty cars and driving around and fixing your car for you to look big- it is more than that.”

The five schools are Calvary Temple, Queen’s Square Anglican, Ebenezer Methodist, Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist, and St. Mary’s. For more on the club visit http://www.dynamiqautoclub.com.
