And while that was the official ceremony, the people's celebration was held at the Ebo Town festival at the Yabra Green field. People flocked to the festival adorned with colorful displays of art, cultural attractions, live drumming and traditional kriol food on sale. The festival turned out to be a huge success. Organizer and Director of ICA, Kim Vasquez spoke about the success of the event.
