Belize's first and longest running show, "Noh Matta Wat" is officially making its return to the screen after more than a decade.
With a new storyline, characters and new faces, Noh Matta Wat, an original Belizean drama will begin filming its season 5 series in the coming month. And this Saturday, they are doing auditions at the Bliss to find their new lead actors.
The show's creator and producer stopped by our studio this morning to give us some details on the show's revival and what people can expect to see.
Denvor Fairweather, Producer "Noh Matt Wat"

"Noh Matta Wat is a long running Belizean family drama that actually premiered in Belize in 2005 and we have done 4 seasons previously in 2005,2006, 2008 and 2011 we had a 20th anniversary event that the director asked me to put together last year because in November we debut in November 2005 so we did a 20th anniversary event at the bliss, November the 15th 2025. And those who attended the event enjoyed themselves the show was well received and in the build up to the event we had done some encores of season 1and over the years I have had a lot of request for us why we haven't been doing the show and a request for us to continue to show. So based on the feedback we got from the public and the business community to be able to do the event and then the reactions from the event has prompted us to go into a production a new season, season 5. And we are basically doing the casting this Saturday at the Bliss from 11-5pm and then we will commence with production in the next couple of weeks to be on air with the new season in May of 2026."
"For this upcoming season 5 we will be doing 10 new episodes and we are going to be covering variety of social topics, we are going to be dealing with some issues relating to sexual abuse and violence especially against women which is something that is prominent and have gotten even more extreme in terms of some of the cases we have seen recently, we are also going to be dealing with a couple issues involving youths so it is going to be a whole gamete of social issues the show is based on a family, a Garifuna family a mother her daughter her son and then her daughter now is in her 30s and she has her kids who are teenagers and our cast will range from kids all the way up to a senior citizen who is 65 and we have a number of youths and young adults in there."
So, again, the casting call starts at 11:00 am on Saturday at the Bliss.
