2 of the biggest names in reggae music are in Belize for the weekend. Both Taurus Riley and Skip Marley arrived in the country today for a mega concert on Saturday at the Marion Jones Stadium.
We caught Skip at the PGIA when he landed, and I got to hear him live first-just a quick preview of his performance tomorrow night. Here's that story.

Skip Marley and his entourage swept in to the PGIA early this afternoon, making him the second artist to arrive for the 1st annual Belize Music World Festival. Skip Marley is headlining along with Taurus Riley tomorrow night, 2 huge names in the world of Reggae music. It's Skip's first time in Belize, and he said he's looking forward to the ladies and the culture.

"Its huge being able to honor my family and spread that message to Belize people for the first time it is a huge new feeling for me."

"This is your first time in Belize correct?"

"Yes first go round and you know hopefully many more you know."

"What stories have you been hearing about Belize what has gotten you interested what is one thing?"

"The women here you know and the culture a mix of culture here and the good food and good energies you know so we look forward to hopefully finding someone to you know show me around."
Marley says he hopes he will make a good first impression for the fans, spreading his message through his music and carrying on the Marley legacy:

The concert, also featuring J Cas, starts at 8:00 tomorrow night at the Marion Jones Stadium.
