UB Engineering Students Now Circulating Petition

Yesterday students from the UB Engineering Department met with the school's president to tell her they oppose the proposed transfer of that faculty's campus to the IT-VET program. Today their work to block the transfer continued with organizers taking up a petition signed by 232 students. They expect to present six hundred such signatures to the Prime Minister and Minister of Education. Both leaders will be invited to a forum on Wednesday afternoon at the Technical basketball court.
