Has City Council Solved Garbage Problems?

The Belize City Council says its garbage problems are solved. This comes after Party Leader Dean Barrow led a breakthrough meeting with Belize Waste Control earlier this week. Belize Waste Control has committed to deploy two trucks ten hours a day, 7 days a week to pick up waste collected by SEL and BML. This is in addition to regular garbage pickups. Now these new garbage patrols will continuously cruise garbage hotspots where, uncannily, garbage seems to accumulate in great volumes at an accelerated pace.
