And one protest that got lost in the country-wide walk-outs today was the teacher walkout at ITVET in Corozal.

It was certainly far from the focus of the Ministry of Education's Belize Education Sector Plan press conference this morning but we put the question to Minister Fonseca, here's that question and his response:

Among the complaints of the teachers at ITVET were that some of them had not been paid for 4 months and that they lack materials and equipment with which to carry out their practical lessons.
