It was a camp meant to transform the lives of a group of at-risk young men, but last week when Camp D'Silva in Pine Ridge was shut down after what should have been the parent's day showcase many are left outraged and without a plan.

The issue came to light this morning when it became the subject of discussion on the morning talk circuit with one parent venting her frustrations at what she calls broken promises of a productive future for her son.

We reached out first to the CEO in the Ministry of Transport Youth and Sports, Adele Catzim for answers and she referred us to Kevin Cadle, the Director of the Department of Youth Services. But he told us he is awaiting instructions, and as soon as he gets instructions, he will let us know.
