The Ministry of Economic Development and the Caribbean Climate Change Center today launched what's called the Green Climate Fund toolkit. It is a guideline for agencies or government ministries in Belize to apply to the fund for climate change-based projects. This toolkit provides greater access to Green Climate Fund. Here is more from the launch at the Radisson.

Belize's country program as well as the "Readiness Support 2 Project" were also launched at the event.

That provides support to the private sector to be accredited by the Green Climate Fund. PACT is one of those accredited organizations and they met with their stakeholders and co-managers in the room right across from the GCF toolkit launch. We dropped by to find out more about their discussion and how significant the accreditation is.

Next week CEO Yvonne Hyde and a delegation will travel to Korea for a Green Climate Fund meeting with country representatives from 144 national designated authorities.
