Fuel Tanker Takes A Spill, and Then Spills Fuel

This afternoon, a fuel tanker overturned at Mile 34 on the Hummingbird Highway, near St Margaret's Village. Fortunately, there are no reports of major injuries, but there were reports of fuel leaking onto the highway. A release from the Ministry of infrastructure Development and Housing cautioned motorists to drive with extreme care. They also noted that there is urgent restoration work being done at Mile 29 on the same highway.
