And while Lisa's impact is forcing some to go to sleep without any electricity for the third night in a row, it has also forced the closure of the Belize Zoo for at least a month.
But before you get too worried - the animals are all fine, and so are their habitats. It's the trees and other plants that took most of the damage, blocking off the paths to get to the exhibits. And until all those mahoganies and pines are cleared, there can be no visitors, which means less revenue for a zoo that needs every single cent it can get.
