Youths Discuss HIV/Aids

A spectrum of youths ranging those still in high school to those already in university and including those out on the streets all gathered at the Princess Hotel this morning for a forum on HIV/Aids. The informative and interactive no holds barred panel discussion was led by Ambassador for HIV/Aids Dolores Balderamos-Garcia, Dr. Paul Edwards from the Ministry of Health, Joan Burke from HECOPAB, and Living with HIV poster boy Errol Fairweather. The topics ranged from preventing infection to ending discrimination. Students from 7 high schools and the University of Belize attended as well as delegates from the Youth for the Future initiative.
