And in an update, we regret to report tonight that Kennard Gabb lost his battle with heart disease this weekend. Exactly a week ago we aired an interview with the 33 year old heart patient in which he was asking for funds so he could undergo open-heart surgery. Gabb traveled to Guatemala City on Friday. His family says doctors at Roseville Hospital had already run tests and he was under observation on Saturday night when he passed away. Gabb was scheduled to undergo surgery this week. His body is now back in Belize awaiting a burial later this week. Gabb has battled heart problems from age 18 when he first underwent surgery to replace one of his heart's valves.
