And while the Prosser matter continues to swirl, Prime Minister Said Musa, leaves Belize today on his way to Paramaribo, Suriname, to attend the sixteenth meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government. Talks will center on the CARICOM Single Market and Economy and the establishment of the troubled Caribbean Court of Justice, which suffered a major loss last week when the Privy Council ruled that it needed a constitutional amendment to be legally established in Jamaica.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Lawrence Sylvester, and Belize's Ambassadors to the United States of America and Mexico, their Lisa Shoman and Salvador Figueroa.

The Prime Minister returns to Belize on Friday, February 18, two days before his party's national convention.
