Joanna Breathing On Her Own

She is off the ventilator and tonight doctors say 10-year-old Joanna Coc is slowly but surely showing signs of recovery.

On Thursday afternoon Joanna was walking along with a friend on the Western Highway in Roaring Creek when she was knocked down by a car driven by an Argentinean national. Her father told 7NEWS on Friday that Joanna was chased into the middle of traffic by a half-naked Creole man. Still, police charged the driver Domingo Daniel Mendez with driving without due care and attention and negligent grievous harm.
