As we told you earlier, 1007 confirmed cases of COVID 19 have now been confirmed in Belize since March.
During this Ministry's of Health's weekend updates on their coronavirus surveillance, the Director of Health Services lamented their dismay that Belizeans across the country continue to take risks by hosting and attending big parties in their communities.
And Police are also reporting that they had to criminally charge 158 people this weekend for breaking State of Emergency rules all over the country.
107 people were charged for failing to properly wear a cloth mask or other face covering covering while in public. 41 were charged for breaching the 9 p.m. to 5 a.m curfew. 9 were charged for failing to practice proper social distancing.
And finally, 1 person was charged for leaving mandatory quarantine early.
