And one of the COVID deaths recorded on Saturday was the maternal death 31-year-old Christy Pope. She had been diagnosed with the virus and had to be hospitalized - all while pregnant. Her child was born premature, but, unfortunately, she did not survive the ordeal. Pope passed away after giving birth and was buried today IN Burrell Boom.
