And keeping it in the House, the Speaker Valerie Woods granted permission to Kevin Bernard, the Minister of Health and Wellness, to provide an update on all the improvements that the Briceno Administration has overseen in public health and the different medical facilities countrywide. He told his colleagues in parliament that the current government had to make healthcare a major priority, especially because of the COVID pandemic and the prolonged threat to public health:
