And after the House Meeting, Patrick Faber gave the media a tell-all interview where he explained the reasons for his absence and what happened post-Uncut walk out six months ago.

However, he also mentioned that even while he was away, he was plugged in.

Hon. Patrick Faber, UDP Area Rep., Collet
"Well, first of all I had made attempts to come before. I, at one point had covid. I was in the country, but I was not able to and I had a very mild bout of covid, just a fever for a day and a half, but I was not able to get a negative test in time for the house meeting and then on another occasion I was at my son's graduation in the US and I tried to get back, but there was a sleugh of cancellation of flights. I am very pleased to be back and ofcourse I hold my duty to the people of Collet as my primary responsibility now. Ofcourse they have always been my responsibility as well and so that's what my focus will be here. But I never really left the party, I kept abreast of things. We have various different chat groups that keep us abreast of what is happening both in the party and inside of the government and so I kept abreast of what was going on."

And inside the House, he was seated after the Deputy Prime Minister, rather than next to Sista B - or rather, where she is supposed to sit, since she hasn't attended the meetings.

We asked Faber if this was a show of the good will between himself and the Leader of the Opposition.

Hon. Patrick Faber, UDP Area Rep., Collet
"There have been difficult times, I will make that no secret and I believe people would see me as disingenuous if I said that everything has been rosy since I left office as leader of the party and there have been quite a bit of back and forth to the honest, but a few weeks ago the leader reached out to me and he apologized for things that may have been done or said and I saw that as an overture for us to have a discussion and so initially I had indicated to him that I would be returning to the country around the middle. I had not intended to come as early as Wednesday of this week, because I didn't know there was a house meeting. I had to move up the time and so we had schedule next Tuesday for that meeting and I am looking forward to that meeting, but as I said to him then all I saw his messages to be were overtures of goodwill and my issues I promise him would not be any personal issues, that I would focus on what is best for the party and for me that means making sure that when we move forward, that things happen according to the constitution of the party and not because we're trying to appease anybody or preserve anybody for that matter. Those are the things that I have observed, just preliminary have not gone well I will be insisting on those things when we sit and talk next Tuesday."
