2 weeks ago we told you that the Minister Of Foreign Affairs Francis Fonseca underwent open heart surgery at the KHMH. His recovery period is expected to be over 2 months and today we asked the Prime Minister for an update on Fonseca's recovery, and a projection of how soon they expect him back in office.

John Briceno, Prime Minister

"Well the last time that I spoke with him I messaged him and he is doing well. I went to see him on the Friday after the surgery and he looked quite relaxed and I was kind of joking with him that some of us, they should put us to sleep for 3 days so we can relax a bit. But he is doing well and actually I am hoping I can do a quick visit with him."

"What I am telling him, his health comes first, once he feels he is a position to come back to work he is welcome to because we certainly need his help."

The PM is currently holding the Foreign Affairs portfolio.
