Prime Minster Briceno was marching for peace in Palestine yesterday, but he had just returned from the first Saudi-Caribbean Summit, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The event was chaired by the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and the Prime Minister of Dominica and Chairman of CARICOM Roosevelt Skerrit.
All 14 Caricom Heads of Government attended - and the Prime Minister yesterday told us what they asked for:
John Briceno, Prime Minister

"The important thing is that a $2.5 billion have been set up for the for the Caribbean to be able to work on issues that can help us address climate change, and food security and so on. Now the actual steps are being worked out as to how we will be able to be able to apply for funding and loan so I think it's going to be between funding and loans, a combination of both."
Reports say the Prime Minister also made a request for a grant for his government's housing program.
