And, while many Belizeans are waiting for the airport to open to fly home, there are others who've come down through Mexico and are being processed through the Northern border.

But, one family man - whose application didn't go through correctly ended up getting stuck on the Mexican side. He's been there since Saturday - in desperate straits according to his wife.

Idelie Carpio told us via phone today how bad things are for her husband and her family's breadwinner Lennox Lionel Young Jr., better known as DJ Tambran - who hasn't been home since January.

Idelie Carpio, Husband Stuck at Border
"He is there now for the past 4 days. I have been all around looking for help for him. To tell you I am at this point frustrated because he is here already. All I want is for them to let him in. Let him come into his country. We have the money to pay the 7 days quarantine. Let him come into his country. He has been out there, he has no job, he doesn't have any money to buy food, he is sleeping in his vehicle, so I am just begging the government to allow him to get in his

country. He is not refusing the swab, he said he will go by protocol. Whatever procedure they put him through, but all he wants is for them to let him inside his country, put his in quarantine, we pay his quarantine. All we are begging for is to let him back in his country and let him reunite with his family again. All he want is to be home, let him come back in his country."

The CEO in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Carpio just yesterday properly lodged the application to have Young Jr return.

She says she is pushing to get him cleared to enter the country as soon as possible, and hopefully by tomorrow.
