Though their meeting with the Taiwanese was successful and Zabaneh says that they have pledged their support to help them, there are still a few corners that need to be ironed out before they can proceed. He gave us an update on the bus operator audits they had agreed to back in July when they signed on to the National Bus company.

"They are concluding now we have gotten the first draft from them and in fact today we are getting the final one from them, of the 21 operators. so the next step now is that by next Friday we will be getting what we call the opening balance sheet right which means an indicative opening balance sheet that will show the portion of the value of the governments inputs which will be the terminals the portion that will be the operators that come on board in the company and then the 3rd portion will be the equity that we will need to invest in it by an institutional investor for new terminals because we need new terminals in Punta Gorda in San Ignacio, in Benque and one here in Orange walk as well."
