Venezuela Offering Belize US$5 million Grant

Government could be getting more financial assistance from Venezuela. Information to 7NEWS is that a Venezuelan contingent led by Venezuelan Vice-Minister of Foreign Relations Rodolfo Sanz will be arriving in Belize tomorrow to meet with a Belizean contingent headed by Ralph Fonseca.

Reports say they will discuss a US$5 million grant that Venezuela is offering to Belize. We expect that Fonseca will be heading the contingent as the new Minister of Housing, a portfolio he picked up after the Cordel Hyde firing. We hope to hear something official on this by tomorrow.
