And from that politician in accident to the weekend shootout that landed the deputy mayor in hot water. The Belize City Council gave him two weeks to either resign or be removed and though the clock's ticking, he hasn't indicated yet which it will be. Today we asked his colleague what he thought of the whole situation, but Minister Henry Charles Usher was a bit reserved, putting the onus on the PUP's disciplinary committee to decide whether Goodin's punishment fits his crime.

Hon. Henry Charles Usher, PUP Chairman
"The PUP has a body called the order of distinguish service and they deal with disciplinary measures within the party and we are looking at the entire situation. An investigation is being done to make sure that they did not operate any of the parties involved that did not operate in a way that requires further discipline. So, that's a matter that's when completed, then you can get an answer."

Hon. Henry Charles Usher, PUP Chairman
