And while Dean Barrow won big in the Supreme Court, his son, Leader of the Opposition, Shyne Barrow did big things in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday night. In the performance seen around Belize, he performed his iconic song, "Bad Boyz" on stage with Sean "P Diddy" Combs as the Belizean flag unfurled behind him. His father says he got "coldseed" just like everyone else, but hopes his son can use that good energy to unify his deep divided party:

"It was a glorious moment and all of us with Belizean blood running through veins would have been electrified, would have caught fire in seeing that and in recognizing how much it gave absolutely wonderful publicity to this country that we love so much. So, kudos to him in that regard. There are ofcourse still the haters and the doubting Thomas', I saw somebody say well that's not the kind of publicity that we want, because the rap lyrics - man, come on, this is a modern era and that's the sort of welcome attention to Belize that you can't buy. So, he must be absolutely congratulated for that."
"Now, he needs to take that and say to his colleagues in the UDP, look, I am able to do things for Belize and for this party, join hands with me and help me to do those things so that we might do those things together."
