But before this term is up, we asked the mayor if we'll be seeing any of the promised financial reports. Back in May he said he would present the expense reports for the Holy Week Revival Concert in April. But up to now, we haven't seen it. Today, he promised to have that as well as the audited financial report for 2022.

Courtney Menzies:
"Back in May you promised to show the numbers for the big concert that was in Easter, will we get that any time soon?"

Bernard Wagner, Mayor of Belize City
"Yes you will get that. A lot of things have been occurring and I promised that I would have gotten that to you… my bad. But I certainly will get it to you if not by the end of this week, early next week I promise."

Courtney Menzies:
"And then your website, the posted financial reports, I think there has been an update since 2021, will we get any reports for 2022 before municipal elections?"

Bernard Wagner, Mayor of Belize City
"Certainly before municipal elections, right now we have our audit being done for the fiscal year 2022 currently being done right now, we have a window of three months because it's not only that the media wants to see the financial but it is a requirement from us as a entity that issues municipal securities and investors want to see audited financials, so it's not if we want to get audited reports, we have to as an entity, as a financial entity that is issuing municipal securities."
