And while the PM says it's not electioneering, he has taken the opportunity to join the San Pedro campaign trail with all the "go" of a blu dynamo that does not stop.
Today we asked him what he's been hearing while he's been on the ground.
John Briceno, Prime Minister

"I'm quite excited actually, much more than I expected. Every house that we visited, and we visited a lot of homes, people are very satisfied with the work that the local government, that Wally and his team have been doing, they're satisfied with the infrastructure development. If you all have some time I think you should go by San Pedrito, DFC area to see the network of miles of streets that have been paved, well, 7 streets, and so they're very happy because that changes the value of their property and it makes that whole area more vibrant so they're very happy, they're excited, I feel quite confident, and I never take the people for granted, but I feel quite confident that if things remain as they are, we're going to have once again a municipality that's led by Wally Nunez as the mayor and the PUP team."
