Was ED Pushed Out At PACT?

Our next two stories are about sudden departures from senior posts…the first at PACT, which is the Protected Areas Conservation Trust.

Executive Director Nayari Perez - who has been with the organization for 20 years - was reportedly given verbal notice last week that her contract would not be renewed. With that, her last day as Executive Director was yesterday. She had been in that post since 2017. Reports suggest the notice given was insufficient.
