Despite having withdrawn the case Peyrefitte is still putting a favourable spin on it. He thinks the fact that there was a surge in transfers from one constituency to another is a show of weakness:

It's bad news for Dolores Balderamos -Garcia because her people, diehard PUP people, are leaving her in the cold in Belize Rural Central."
