Central America's buffest, tightest, and fittest bodies competed for gold and glory this weekend in the Central American Bodybuilding Championship which were held at the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts. 60 athletes from four countries competed in 15 categories and two Belizeans excelled. Rene Gordon won gold by default in the light heavy weight since there was no competitor. Kayla Myvette bested two other Belizeans in the 1.68 centimeters body fitness for the gold medal.
Mr. Belize Dion Danderson meanwhile won silver in the welter weight as did Gilroy Nembhard in the light middle weight and Leroy Healy in the men's heavy weight. And while Belize only won two gold medals, we were the overall winners with 176 points.
