We all know about the ladies national volleyball team that won gold on Saturday, but "Kingmir", Belize's most promising professional boxer also did his thing on that same weekend against a Guatemalan boxer.
He won his bout against "El Toro" the second best ranked fighter in Guatemala. With a record of 7-0, 3 knock outs and 4 unanimous decisions his record as an undefeated boxer still stands. And here's what he had to say about the victory.

Amir Rudon, Professional boxer
"The day of the fight I had like nerves that I would normally have on fight day, but as soon as I went to swift hall and I was there I was 100% locked in and ready, and the support was amazing from the people everyone that came out so when I waked to the ring and he was inside the ring in the opposite corner I had no doubts I had no fear in my mind it was just time to get the job done."

"Is there any upcoming fights or anything that you are going four after this?"
Amir Rudon, Professional boxer
"Yes definitely we want to be back in the ring September, I am fighting for a WBC belt the goal is to fight before September finishes because we're fighting for a belt that the limit is 23years old and under and I'm turning 24 years old in October so I want to get this on my resume before I turn 24 and then we move on to bigger and more challenges in the boxing career."
Reporter:
"Ok and I know that the volleyball girls team won against Guatemala as well that day so how do you feel that both of your guys defeated you know the team and you."
Amir Rudon, Professional boxer
"It definitely makes me feel proud as a Belizean and I am 100% happy for them, and I congratulate them on their victory as well they did their part and I did my part and I am happy that we both got the job done for Belize."
