Mai Drives A Tractor
The Taiwanese Embassy made a sizable donation to the Ministry of Agriculture today in Belmopan. Minister, Jose Mai, jumped behind the wheel to receive the donation, including a tractor with forage harvester, a used four wheel drive pickup, and other farm implements.
This donation was facilitated through the Breeding Sheep and Goat Production and Guidance System Enhancement Project. It will be used at the National Sheep and Goat Breeding center in Central Farm.
The tractor, which also comes with a 16-foot trailer and other equipment is valued at $143,625 - and could also be used as a ministerial ride.
