But the proposal of promissory notes aren't the only thing that was put on the table during yesterday's meeting. According to Henry, the government produced the drafts for two pieces of good governance legislation, and have promised them a third next week. This is one of the main points that the unions have been fighting for, as these legislations fall under UNCAC. Henry told us that they are now having their lawyers look over it.

"They came with two actually, they presented to us two already, and a third one should be on the way as far as I'm aware now. I'm not certain when exactly that will be presented to us, but we definitely will be looking over those legislation, we have our legal people already, actually I had a review of one of them done by my personal lawyer already and so we are going to share those legislations with our general membership for them to see as well, they may have their own personal lawyers to have a look at it, because this is all about them so we have to share those things with them."

"We have the whistleblowers, and then we have the asset recovery, so those two were presented. The one that is outstanding is the campaign financing legislation. So we hope that by next week that that should be presented to us, that's set for about Monday and we can do that review for that legislation."
