And while those Cabinet members were in Cayo North, back in Belmopan there was some musical chairs with one CEO.

In what is called a "realignment", CEO in the Ministry of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform Dr. Osmond Martinez has been moved over to the same post in the Ministry of Economic Development.

It seems like a good enough fit, since Dr. Martinez holds a doctorate in economics with a focus on poverty and social development.

But to hear the unions tell it - he signed off on some transfers that may be under challenge. Here's how the VP of the PSU put it yesterday:

Dean Flowers - 1st VP, PSU
"I want to reassure my public officers that if you have been victimized and you have received a transfer letter that is in breach and against the public service regulations, kindly bring that forward. We will also be requesting a thorough review and a full review of every single transfer in the public service under the CEO who I understand demits office on Friday for transfer to another ministry."

Long time PUP loyalist and former candidate, Rolando Zetina will now be CEO in the Ministry of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform.
