Did the Unions Walk Out?

And it was PSU VP Flowers who yesterday suggested that the talks with the government almost broke down.

But did they actually walk out of yesterday's meeting? While this report had been circulating, PSU president Gerald Henry shut it down, saying the tone of the meetings remains cordial.

"I think that was a misinterpretation that went out, I know the source of it, but it was misinterpreted, but actually we did not walk out, the meeting was actually formally ending and we left the meeting in good discussions and so on with the government and good conclusion in terms of that, it was not a conflict sort of situation where we just got up and walked out."
