Brother Attacks Brother Over Gun

It started as a quarrel over a gun and by the time was over 15-year-old Francis Cardinez was in police custody and his 16-year-old brother Luis was at the KHMH emergency room. The family wouldn't talk to us but the official police story is that around 1 am on Saturday Francis and Luis began arguing over a gun near their Conch Shell Bay area home. That is when police say Francis pulled out a knife and stabbed Luis in his lower back. We do know that Luis has indicated he does not wish to press charges against his younger brother. But today the boys' mother told us she is encouraging her son to press charges again his brother.
