A tourist drowned this weekend in San Pedro. On Sunday morning, 65-year-old Deanna Lois Kennedy was snorkeling near the Hol Chan Reserve when she began experiencing breathing difficulties. She was pulled from the water and rushed to the local clinic, but she was pronounced dead on arrival. Kennedy had been snorkeling in a group of 8 guests, all from Captain Morgan's Resort. A post mortem confirmed that she drowned.
