Their gun was fake but Shane Morgan and his two teenage accomplices are in real trouble tonight for robbing a couple with their imitation firearm. The couple told police that on Saturday night they were walking on Hicatee Street when they were ambushed by three men on bicycles armed with what they thought was a gun. The men rode off with earrings, a gold chain, and a black rag. They didn't get very far as police responded quickly and caught up with Morgan and his teenage accomplices, aged 15 and 16. Police also recovered the stolen items plus an imitation firearm. All three appeared in magistrate's court today on robbery charges. They were denied bail and remanded until March 27th.
Shawn Morgan we might add already has an unrelated robbery charge pending before the court.
