A Burglar's Failed Attempt at First Caribbean's ATM

A daring but hapless bank burglary was attempted last night. Some between 5 yesterday evening and 5:00 this morning, a thief or thieves used a back window to slip into First Caribbean Bank on Albert Street. Getting in is usually the hardest part but for this thief, the hardest part was trying to get into the ATM machine. According to police, the machine was damaged by an attempt to pry it open. But it was not opened, and the police say, the thief or thieves left empty handed. We could not reach a bank representative for comment.
