Former Police Constable Aldo Ayuso was back in court again this afternoon. Ayuso was today charged for indecent assault and the use of threatening words. It is alleged that on Saturday night Ayuso aggressed a group of King's Park residents, most of them teenage girls, who were selling barbecue and tickets for a pageant they are planning for December. Today we spoke to Lauren Olivera and her daughter Odessa Bailey. Olivera asked that her face be blurred because she says he is afraid for her life. They told us what happened.

Odessa Bailey, Accuser
"We sell three tickets and the Hispanic person hadn't come up yet. When we done sell the ticket, this Hispanic man came from behind and started to rub up on me. My mom told him to leave my daughter along and Corporal Barrow told him to leave this girl alone because she is my cousin."

Lauren Olivera, Accuser
"He touched the first young lady. I asked the police to please talk to him. He stopped bothering her and he went to the next young lady and touched her on her breasts and I asked him two times to leave her alone. He then referred to me, he swung around, and he asked if I knew who he was. He gave me his name and I said I don't know this man. So when I said I don't know this man, he told me that he has already killed two times and he doesn't mind kill all of us out here and he ran towards his vehicle."

Odessa Bailey,
"He went to his vehicle, I don't know what he had in his vehicle. After that he came back at us with a pint and that time we started to run from him because he said that he already killed and we were really afraid of him. I am afraid of him personally. We called police. If it was a civilian man, police would have never let him drive because he was under the influence, he was drunk, drunk, drunk. The CIB man let him drive his own vehicle to the station and made him sit down and he took us 'mek papisho.'"

Lauren Olivera,
"I went to the station and he threatened me in the station right in front of the police. After that his father came to us and told us that we are hungry and that his son lives and eats better than us. From then, the father cooled off and they started to offer us money. I told them I didn't want any money because they have already cursed me as black and poor and they can't buy poorness and they can't buy my blackness so I didn't want anything from them.

Then the mother came and shoved me in the chest and told me she heard I was chancing her Aldo. She shoved me three times and then I told her that if she doesn't want me to make her head touch the ground, please don't touch me again because I don't know her or her son."

Keith Swift,
You are not showing your face. Why is that?

Lauren Olivera,
"Because I am afraid of him because he threatened me right in the station. He told me to bring anybody and let him out there lights too."

Ayuso was charged with three counts of use of threatening words and indecent assault. He was released on $2,500 bail. Ayuso was previously charged for killing Leslie Rogers in February of 2004. Those charges were dropped in April of this year. He has been dismissed from the Police Department but is appealing the dismissal.
