Earlier this month the three Olivarez brothers: Jesus, Eliseo, and Margartito were convicted for the January, 2003 killing of Elvis Vasquez in Corozal Town.
Today the men were sentenced by Justice Michelle Arana. Jesus Olivarez who was convicted of murder got life in prison while his brothers Eliseo and Margarito who were convicted of manslaughter got 15 years in prison.
The murder was sparked by an argument in a Corozal nightclub and ended in a bloodbath when a machete was drawn.
