A woman in Belize City was robbed and raped in a brutal home invasion over the weekend. What makes it worse is that it all happened while she was home alone with her 7-year-old son. The woman told police that at 1 on Friday morning she was sleeping when she realized that someone had entered her home. It turned out to e two men – one dark and one fair skinned. She said that one of them choked her and demanded money. She told him she had none and that’s when he demanded sex.
Her attackers then forced her into the bathroom where they raped her. For good measure they then hit her across the head with an object. She acted as if she had been struck unconscious and that’s when the men fled.
But before leaving, they cleaned out her house, snatching up all electronic devices, and her clothes, put it all in her car her Ford Escort and split with it – all to a value of about $10,000. Police have made no arrests.
